Re-Scheduling and Cancellation Policy
Q: Can I make changes to or cancel my rental order?
A: We try our best to accommodate requests to add items to an order up until the time we load your order for delivery. Additions are based on availability, so please don’t wait if you know you need something added to your order. Cancellation of reserved items may not result in a refund. Please contact us as soon as possible with changes and or cancellations to your order. We will normally be in touch 2-4 weeks prior to your event date to confirm your order, but you can always call or email us sooner.
Q: What is your rain and wind policy?
A: If it is raining (severely), we will not set up inflatables/tents. If it is too windy we will not set up an inflatable or tent. If weather conditions change after setup, no refunds will be granted. Unfortunately, we cannot predict or control the weather, but we wish we could!
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: To reschedule or cancel your reservation for any reason, we require you give us advance notice well before your event day. If the customer cannot get a hold of the company, or has called after business hours, it is still the customer’s responsibility to leave a message in the company’s messaging system about cancelling their reservation AND sending an email to email@example.com regarding the cancellation. We require all cancellations to be submitted in writing and must include the Order#, Name the Order is under and Date of the event. Customer may also opt to reply to us from the receipt which was sent when the order was first placed- (We prefer this method)
Base Cancellation Policy Applies to ALL orders: All customers are required to pay a deposit (based on the order total) to hold a party date. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Deposit will be held for future customer use as a “rain check” as long as the cancellation is made prior to any penalty stage. Rain check is non-transferable and must be used within 6 months from the date of cancellation. Any amounts paid over and above the required deposit are non-refundable as well. Cancellation of reserved items will not result in a refund.
Any remaining amount paid will be held for (6) months as a “Rain Check or Store Credit” to be applied toward a future reservation; it is otherwise forfeited, NO EXCEPTIONS. Convenience Fees are non-refundable. Travel and delivery fees are non-refundable if the order is NOT cancelled prior to staff’s arrival to the delivery location. Insurance Certificate fees are non-refundable.
In cases where the customer books equipment that requires FULL payment within 2 weeks of the event date, the normal required deposit is overridden, making the total order amount due at booking and 100% non refundable.
Cancellation Policy for Inflatables:
To reschedule or cancel an event, customer must do so at least (2) weeks prior to the event date. Requests made less than (2) weeks out are subject to a 30% restock fee. Requests made within 48hrs (1-2 days) are subject to a 50% restock fee. Cancellations on the day of require full payment.
Cancellation Policy for None Inflatable Rental Items to also include Fun Food Machines, Carnival/Party Games, Table Linens, Wedding & Event Items, Party Equipment & Supplies, Tables, Chairs, Tents, etc:
To reschedule, cancel an event, or reduce quantities, customer must do so at least 30 days from the event date. Less than 30 days but more than 2 weeks out, the item(s) will be subject to a 30% restock fee. Once at or within 2 weeks of the event date, the rental total is 100% non-refundable.
NON INFLATABLE RENTAL ITEMS ARE NOT CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN. Lessee must have an alternate plan in place for their event.
For Inflatables ONLY, in cases where it’s an outdoor event and raining, lessee will have the opportunity to delay until the rain passes, cancel prior to accepting the order or reschedule to another day (based on availability). Once delivered and accepted, refunds are not given even if it rains later as we cannot predict or control the weather. Rental rates relate to the time out on the equipment, not time used.
Orlando Fun Party Rentals reserves the right to cancel or postpone a party based on weather forecast. Any party on a date meeting the following forecast conditions may be postponed or cancelled by Orlando Fun Party Rentals or customer:
- Winds or wind gusts at or above 20mph
- Rain or precipitation at or above 50%
- Any other hazardous conditions
All forecast information will be referenced according to the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE We take safety very seriously. If we deem conditions to be hazardous to your guests or our equipment, we will advise you to cancel or postpone your event.
NO REFUNDS FOR WEATHER. STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES.
Hot or Cold Weather
Orlando Fun Party Rentals will not issue refunds or credits for weather being “too hot” or “too cold” during party. We will advise you based on our years of experience on which equipment works best for certain types of weather, but the final booking decision is the customers’.
Weather During Party
If there is rain forecast below 50%, Orlando Fun Party Rentals will allow customer to decide whether or not to cancel, reschedule or postpone party. Once equipment is delivered to customer, customer pays 100% of the rental cost – NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS! Orlando Fun Party Rentals sells time rented – not time used. If your guests only use the equipment for a few minutes due to weather, you pay the full balance regardless.
Orlando Fun Party Rentals wants everyone to enjoy our rental equipment and come back time after time for their party rental needs. We value safety! All event postponements or cancellations are done in the interest of all party guests. We will work collaboratively with you to figure out a best course of action for all changes to your party.
